 Beate Mordal

«BEATE MORDAL, A LIVELY SUSANNA LAST YEAR, IS AN UNFORGETTABLE PAMINA, A NATURAL, COMPULSIVELY WATCHABLE ACTRESS, AND WITH LOVELY, BURNISHED TONE THAT BROUGHT TEARS TO THE EYES IN “ACH, ICH FÜHL’S,” FALSE TRAGEDY THOUGH IT IS, BUT COULD ALSO SOFTEN TOUCHINGLY FOR HER PICARESQUE DUETS WITH GRANT DOYLE’S PAPAGENO.» STEPHEN WALSH, WWW.THEARTSDESK.COM
‘..AS PAMINA, BEATE MORDAL IS BEAUTIFULLY POISED, HER ACH, ICH FÜHL’S SUNG WITH MUTED MELANCHOLY.’ THE TIMES
BEATE MORDAL WAS A JOY AS PAMINA, GIVING HER BAGS OF INNOCENT DETERMINATION AND GIRLISH IDEALISM AMOUNTING TO REAL INDEPENDENCE AND COURAGE: “ACH, ICH FÜHL’S” WAS WONDERFULLY AFFECTING.’  , BACHTRACK.COM – 2017.
Beate MOrdal as Susanna in Le nozze di Figaro at Longborough festival Opera:

«The role was taken by Beate Mordal and she has everything that it requires. She is young, attractive, pert and cheeky; her acting is varied and nuanced; she was breathtaking throughout the evening and especially in her aria Deh, vieni non tardar . She was completely captivating.  Her moments in the comic sequence where Figaro discovers his parentage added wonderfully to the comedy; and her duet with the Countess in the third scene was simply stunning.» Mel Cooper, www.playstosee.com
